“Joining the ranks of artists around the world trying to bring a little music and light into these uncertain days, I made a song video today with Angus’ help…we are calling this wee series #songsfromhome. As for the production values, the gig wear are dirty yoga pants, muddy sneakers, glasses and a ball cap, there’s no vocal mic, and you can hear the co-producer chomping on a bone towards the end, and his time was way off. Clearly he won’t be hired as anyone’s percussionist anytime soon. Ahh, who cares? The point in doing this is simply to connect…we may not be able to shake hands, give hugs or find toilet paper in the stores, but we can be there for one another and remind ourselves that when this is over, love and kindness will be what gets us through the darkest times. “ - MCC, March 18, 2020
